Can we all agree that what is going on in Ukraine is a complete travesty? Now we are learning Africans who travelled to Ukraine to go to school to become doctors are now not being allowed to flee the same as the citizens of Ukraine.
Even after forcing our way in, Ukrainian Army and Police continued to chase after us.
They could no longer contain the crowd.

There is a Ukraine citizens 1st policy in operation in the country which is keeping those in the African population from leaving for safety.
A Nigerian medical student at Poland/Ukraine border (Medyka-Shehyni) told me she has been waiting 7hrs to cross, she says border guards are stopping black people and sending them to the back of the queue, saying they have to let 'Ukrainians' through first.
